Keynote Address John C. Bogle
'51, Founder, Vanguard Group Inc.
Mr. Bogle is Founder of The Vanguard Group Inc. and President of the
Bogle Financial Markets Research Center. He created Vanguard in 1974 and
served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer until 1996 and Senior
Chairman until 2000. The Vanguard Group is one of the two largest mutual
fund organizations in the world with more than 100 mutual funds with
current assets totaling about $650 billion. Vanguard 500 Index Fund, the
largest fund in the group, was founded by Mr. Bogle in 1975. It was the
first index mutual fund. Fortune magazine named Mr. Bogle as one of the
investment industry’s four "Giants of the 20th Century" in 1999, and in
1997, he was named one of the "Financial Leaders of the 20th Century" in
Leadership in Financial Services (Macmillan Press Ltd., 1997).

people looking for partners or employees.
- People looking for professional services and people offering
services including tech development, legal counsel, accountanting,
marketing, PR, etc.

Business Plan Competition - Semi-Finals
Companies will compete in one of three categories and a winner will
be announced for each category:
- Seed Company/Start-up
- Early Stage
- Expansion/Mezzanine
If you are interested in participating in the competition, please
enter by sending your business plan to businessplans@princetonen.org
no later than April 30, 2004. We welcome all submissions. All
Business plans will be kept confidential. Companies who have been
selected to compete will be notified by May 14, 2004.
