The dream of quitting your job keeps you up at night. You have nuanced your financials for the final time. You can picture yourself wowing potential investors with your elevator pitch... if only you had the perfect opportunity.

PrincetonEN is looking for a Few Good Plans

Now's your chance. Enter the annual Princeton Entrepreneurs' Network business plan competition and present in front of the audience you've always dreamed of - VCs from Sierra Ventures, Highland Capital, Venture Development Center, Accretive Technology Partners, Westbury Equity and more.

You read it right - REAL VCs with money to burn.

The competition will be held on campus at PrincetonEN's Sixth Annual National Conference, May 27, 2005, during reunions. Six lucky companies will be pre-selected to give 15 minute presentations, followed by 5 minutes in the lion's den (i.e. Q&A with our esteemed judges). One team will be the lucky winner.

And boy do we mean lucky. A $10,000 prize will be awarded to the winning plan. That's 10 big ones, enough to take 3 months off and really pound the pavement. Enough to cover hundreds of copies of your business plan and one fancy computer with a mean Power Point presentation. Or even cash to slap down as collateral for your first LOC.

In addition a $2500 prize will be awarded to the best-written plan (of all plans submitted). The best-written plan award is sponsored by Palo Alto Software, publisher of Business Plan Pro, the leading business plan software for Windows.

But Time is Running Out...

There is no time to waste. Plans should be emailed to businessplans@princetonen.org and will require a $149 registration fee. ($149 to win $12,500. Those are pretty good odds.) Your registration fee enters your business plan and gives you one FREE ticket into the conference (that's a $55 savings - how business-minded of you!). The competition is open to all Princetonians and their friends, family, colleagues, and business associates. The deadline for submission is May 11, 2005. And of course, business plans will be kept confidential.

Got questions? No worries. Just email us and we'll give you all the information you need.

We look forward to reading your plans - stay tuned for our next newsletter!
